Each year, the Afamjal (Jalisco’s Furniture Manufacturers Association) sponsors a National Furniture Contest: Dimueble. In 2013, over more than 800 projects, Sara Bautista’s proposal SINO was chosen as a finalist for the last stage of the contest.

Inspired by the Mexican bird’s fortune tellers tradition, SINO recalls the expectation and uncertainty of what the future may bring to us. The piece was presented at Expo Guadalajara as part of  2013 Summer International Furniture Expo.
