Handicrafts and Design Multidisciplinary Program / UAM-A / Chiapas & Mexico City, México / 2011
In conjunction with Innovation for Fair Development (program encouraged by the International Labour Organization).
Using the traditional waist loom and embroidered techniques, Sara Bautista as UAM-A student, along with other students and Chiapas’ artisans developed new commercial products. A whole new collection, its brochure and commercial presentations for its trade were part of the achieved results.
Some selected photos of the process were exhibit at the collective exposition “Mexican artisans. Perspective tradition” (2012) sponsored by UAM-A.
